Qualus Corp. to Be Acquired by Clearlake Capital from New Mountain Capital; Apollo, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Clearlake Act as Joint Lead Arrangers on Financing
Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Qualus Corp. from New Mountain Capital.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AEC Advisors served as lead financial advisor, with Harris Williams serving as co-financial advisor. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz served as legal counsel to Qualus and Clearlake, respectively. Apollo, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and Clearlake acted as joint lead arrangers on the financing.
Octus reported on March 19 that Clearlake Capital was one of the financial sponsors circling the auction process for Qualus Corp, adding that the asset could fetch 12x to 15x EBITDA in the event of a sale.
