Emily Fasold is Editor and Head of US Deal Origination at Octus, where she reports on private credit and leads U.S. M&A and deal origination coverage. Before joining Octus, she spent nearly three years as a reporter at 9fin covering leveraged loans, and more than five years at Mergermarket covering consumer sector M&A. She holds a B.A. in journalism and environmental studies from Columbia College Chicago and is based in New York.
