By: Diana Bravo, Sid Punjabi
CoEx Partners, part of TP ICAP Group, has hired Sean Juneja as managing director and global head of structured credit to build a dedicated agency execution business focused initially on CLO secondary trading, according to sources.
Juneja is based in London and is currently recruiting senior CLO trading and sales professionals to establish specialist coverage across European and U.S. CLO markets, according to sources. Building out the London business is the immediate priority, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
Prior to this new venture, Juneja built and led the structured products business at BGC Group.
The business is aiming to provide institutional investors with specialist liquidity sourcing, market insight and discreet agency execution across the global CLO market.
While CLOs are the initial focus, the broader strategy is to build a global securitized products franchise covering ABS, RMBS, CMBS, and bespoke and esoteric structured credit products, according to sources.
